KOWRK is the data controller for the personal data you provide when you create an account, use our app or contact us. If you have any questions about this policy or how we process your data, feel free to contact us.

We only collect information necessary to provide and improve KOWRK:

• Account information — name, email, phone number, company and password.
• Content — reports, projects, templates, time entries and files/images you upload.
• Usage data — logs, device type, IP address and events used for operation, security and debugging.
• Communication — emails and support requests you send us.

We process your data for the following purposes:

• Providing, operating and improving the KOWRK service (performance of a contract).
• Securing and protecting the account against misuse (legitimate interest).
• Sending operational and service messages about your account (performance of a contract).
• Complying with accounting and legal requirements (legal obligation).

Your data is stored on secure servers in the EU/EEA with our hosting provider. Access is restricted, connections are encrypted (TLS), and we follow recognised data security principles.

We never sell your data. We only share data with processors that provide necessary infrastructure for KOWRK, for example:

• Hosting and database (server and file storage).
• Email and notifications (transactional messages).
• Error logging and app stability analysis.

All processors are subject to data processing agreements in accordance with the GDPR.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When the account is deleted, personal data is removed, except data we are legally required to retain (e.g. bookkeeping), which is deleted when the retention period expires.

Under data protection law you have the right to:

• Access the information we process about you.
• Rectify incorrect information.
• Erase your information.
• Restrict the processing.
• Data portability.
• Object to the processing.

KOWRK uses necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party marketing cookies.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. The date at the top of the page shows when the policy was last updated.
